MUST READ BOOKS!
Please give these books a read! They will help a lot, even if you just want to get to know a TCK.
Misunderstood: The impact of growing up overseas in the 21st century – By Tanya Crossman. Brilliant analysis of TCK’s published in 2016. A must read for the modern TCK. She is super friendly as well and has responded to my email.
The Global Nomad’s Guide to University Transition – By Tina Quick. I have read this both whilst I was in University and after. Every time it has provided deep insights into my life and things I have found challenging.
Third Culture Kids: Growing up Among Worlds – By Ruth Van Reken and David Polluck (for this addition Micheal Polluck as well). This is the closest thing our culture has to a holy book. This is the first place to start when thinking about being a TCK. It is the most important and instrumental book available. It is both comprehensive, and a really easy read.
